The senior recital of Andrew Carlson and Eric Zishka is on Sunday May 22 at 2:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 1909 St. Paul Road. The performance will feature selections by Mozart, Dvorak, Beethoven, Kabalevsky and others. The students will be accompanied by Constance Goslar. The program will be approximately 1 hour 15 minutes long with refreshments to be served after.

The 2nd annual Harry Wenger Marching Band Festival will be held on Sat., June 18 at 11:00 a.m.
Bring your family and friends to a joint concert with the Gustavus Wind Orchestra, the 9 th Grade Band, and the OHS Concert Band on Saturday, February 5 th at 7:00PM. The concert is at St. John Lutheran Church and is free to the public. It is guaranteed to be a GREAT night of music!
Music Boosters will hold ther pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Eagle’s Club on April 10th, 2011. Please join us for the best pancakes in town and enjoy performances by students while you eat. Hours are from 8:00-12:15.
Thanks to all who attended the Benefit Concert. MBO raised over $3,200 for Owatonna music programs!

MBO has partnered with Michael and Tammi Ferch to put on a benefit concert where the proceeds will be given to music education in Owatonna. The proceeds raised for this event will go towards continuation of scholarships for students interested in attending band, orchestra, & choral camps. In addition, we have worked with the music department staff at Owatonna School district to determine equipment needs, repairs and supplies. As budgets continue to be tight, it’s benefit concerts like this that make a difference in music programming!
This event will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 @ 7:00 – OHS Auditorium. We hope that you’ll consider joining us for this special evening.
